Learn More About Our Program!

The 4S Education Foundation runs the 4S Scholars Program every year. One important aspect of the program is mentorship! We provide one-on-one mentorship for each of our 4S scholars. Our mentors are highly trained and experienced, with many of them having gone through the application themselves just years prior!

The program consists of 30 hour-long individual mentoring sessions throughout June to December with additional resources from the 4S Education Foundation Team. Mentors work with students to create a college list tailored to their interests, brainstorm ideas, help with career planning, and edit essays.

The program’s features include:

Assistance with the student’s personal statement, which selective colleges consider to be significantly more important than test scores;
A focus on rigorous coursework;
An emphasis on self-discipline;
Financial aid from 4S Education Foundation, once the student completes the program.

The only requirement for this program is that each selected student is expected to demonstrate the qualities that are indicators of future success: determination, ambition, tenacity, and resilience. We help them succeed, but their own habits lead them to reach their goals.
